Lynn Meyer is a professional dog handler. Her parents and grandparents were involved in dog handling and breeding. Lynn’s parents are AKC judges and she has been showing dogs since she was 8 years old. Lynn is a Breeder of Merit of Tibetan Terriers, Biewer Terriers and an all breed handler with many national, specialty and best in show wins. Lynn is entering the World of Biewer Terriers with Michele Lyons of Triple Crown and Jared & Karen Hansen of Rocky Mountain Biewer Terriers by co owning and showing some top potential Rocky Mountain Biewer Terriers.

Karen was born in Germany and loves being outdoors and around animals and has been breeding dogs since 2001. She has a Masters in Business Administration and loves foreign languages, web design and outdoor photography. She is happily married to Jared and they have 7 children. Karen and her family moved to Colorado in 2012 and started the Rocky Mountain Biewer Terrier Kennel with several imported champion line Biewer Terriers for their breeding program. Karen has produced Best in Show winners and co-owns several other top-winning Biewer Terriers.

LaVon is a “self-retired” legal assistant/paralegal who now enjoys being a full-time, stay-at-home “Mom” to 3 precious Biewer Terriers, Mesa Sage, Aspen Wyatt and Gracie Vail...all from Rocky Mountain Biewer Terriers...and 1 very spoiled cat, Susie, who showed up in the yard one day and decided to stay. As an admirer of the Biewer Terrier, LaVon enjoys extolling the praises of this beautiful, loving & relatively new breed to anyone who will lend her a listening ear.

 

Dale retired in 2014 after a 46-year career in commercial and residential real estate involved in property management, development, asset management and Managing Broker.  She held numerous leadership positions at both local and national levels including severing on several Board of Directors. Dale served on the Ethics Committees and Hearing Panel for two different professional organizations for 10 years.  Her husband Randy and Dale have been married for 50 years, have 3 grown children and 3 grandsons. When her last Yorkie passed away at 15 years old in 2016, she knew the next new family member would be a Biewer Terrier.  Randy & Dale have 2 Shorkies who are 8 and 9 years old, a 15-year-old Ragdoll cat and 2 Biewer Terriers, Parker and Abigail (Abi). If Dale gets her way, there will be more Biewers in her future.

Faith Beam

Faith Beam is a licensed School Psychologist and Trauma Counselor in Wisconsin. She has been breeding, training, and showing dogs since 1965, most currently with Kerry Blue Terriers and Biewer Terriers. She has participated in numerous venues over the years including Schutzhund, herding, hunt tests, obedience, rally, barn hunt, earth dog, weight pulling, dock diving, tracking, and conformation; earning titles in AKC and UKC in the USA, as well as in Canada and Mexico. Faith is actively involved with 4-H and FFA youth dog projects, Reading Paws, and therapy dog visits. In addition to training and showing her own dogs, she teaches a therapy dog class and trains service dogs for children with autism and disabled adults. 

 

Chelsea Roberts

Chelsea Roberts is a dog groomer by trade owning her own grooming salon. She began involvement in AKC dog shows at the tender age of 8 years old, when she was old enough to compete in Junior Handling. One of her most notable wins as a Junior Handler was winning Best Junior Handler at the American Pomeranian Club National Specialty. She successfully finished many AKC champion Chihuahuas, Pomeranians and Cane Corso. Owning or showing Top 10 ranked dogs in each of the respective breeds. Chelsea is excited to enter the Biewer Terrier breed with an eagerness to learn and share this wonderful breed with anyone interested!

Valorie Prulhiere

Valorie has been registered nurse for almost four decades and has experience in med-surg, critical care, and emergency nursing. Her clinical specialty is forensics. In her home state of OH, she was elected to her community's Board of Education three times, and has held a number of leadership positions in philanthropic, community-focused, and professional organizations at the local, state, and national level. Currently, Valorie teaches nursing and maintains a clinical forensic practice in the Tampa Bay region. Valorie and her husband, Jeff, live in the Tampa Bay region of FL and have three grown children, two of whom reside in CO, one in AZ. Valorie is an avid “pet parent, whose current fur family includes Runa, a loveable yet slightly socially dysfunctional mini schnauzer; Hemi, a sweet rescue kitty who is very tolerant of the canine attention she receives; and Lobo, the young Biewer, who stole her heart from the first puppy photo, and completed the Prulhiere “animal house”.

MeLinda Northrup

MeLinda was a wedding coordinator for 12 years before she started working in the medical field for the last 26 years. Her love for dogs started after she read the books "Big Red" and "Where the Red Fern Grows" as a little girl. She always wanted an Irish Setter and started rescuing dogs in 1981. She has had many different breeds of all types of rescues. She is passionate about stopping puppy mills but supporting responsible breeders. Her Irish Setter was beautiful and the love of her life. She misses him every day. MeLinda currently has a Rescue Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Timmy, a Dachshund/Shih Tzu mix named Buster and her Biewer Terrier, Little Bit. Although MeLinda has not shown any dogs, she showed cats when she was a teenager and is eager to learn about showing dogs.
